BMW Instrument Cluster Repair, Restoration, and Customization E38 E39 X5

This restoration/repair service primarily involves replacing the LCD display, which is commonly known for pixelating the mileage and message center.

 Repairs include:

• New LCD with Ribbon and any backlight bulbs
• Reflowing PCB board resistors if cracked
• Rebuilding the backlight circuit plastics that crumble with age
• Adjusting stepper motors if needed

Special Considerations

• Previously opened or repaired clusters may require additional parts. The most common issue is damaged motors, which cost $50 each motor. (Max 4pcs)
• If the front lens is cracked or damaged they are $150 when available. 
• If your cluster has Tampered/Damaged LED's like Check Engine or Airbag, I can replace each LED for $40.
